The Sarvodaya Suwasetha Community-Based Rehabilitation project is in operation within the Divisional Secretariat areas in Bentara, Balapitiya, and Ambalangoda. Considering its central location to the said areas, Sarvodaya Suwasetha Boys’ CDC in Balapitiya was selected as the most appropriate location to establish a Skills Development Centre, which was identified as an essential step to enhance the Community-Based Rehabilitation service delivery mechanism operating in these areas.
