The Suwasetha (which means wellbeing) Nutrition Center is one of the twelve child care centers and resident homes for children run by Sarvodaya Suwasetha. Sarvodaya Suwasetha Nutrition Centre is the home for the malnourished, abandoned and orphaned babies.

Baby Jayani referred to Sarvodaya Suwasetha Nutrition Centre through the Department of Probation and Childcare. Her mother is from Deniyaya and was working in a garment factory. This 24 years old unmarried mother didn’t have nourish food to eat when she was pregnant. Therefore little Jayani was just 01 Kg when she was born on 01st Aug 2009 and suffering from severe malnourish. Mother was very poor and baby Jayani didn’t have enough strength to suck mother’s breast milk. Also suppose to go for an eye check up and a brain scanning as she is so weak. Please help this girl
