This home was opened in December 1992 and during the past 14 years there have been 95 children who found shelter in the home. Five Girls have passed the G.C.E (Ordinary Level) Examination and one girl entered the University of Ruhuna to read her degree in Arts and passed out in the year 2005. Four girls have secured jobs and one has gone overseas.
