Sarvodaya Suwawetha prepares its financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.  Accordingly it is the intention of the organisation to implement the requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practice that has been issued by the Institute for Non Governmental Organisations with effect from 1 April 2006.

Suwasetha currently prepares its accounts on an annualised basis.  However, steps are being taken to finalise its financial statements on a more regular basis to allow for up to date information.

In view of the limited technology available to the organisation, the finances of the organisations are currently centrally allocated and monitored to ensure that there is total control. 

The Financial Statements are audited by KRESTON MSN and Company, Chartered Accountants.
